The purpose of the project is to compile and analyze additional treatment BMP performance data to gain the most up-to-date understanding of effluent quality to identify options for improving treatment BMP performance estimates in PLRM, if deemed necessary. The work entailed obtaining, compiling, and analyzing as many relevant studies and data available within the Lake Tahoe Basin and in other environments with similar characteristics. The project adds nearly a decade of treatment BMP performance data to the database informing potential changes to Pollutant Load Reduction Model Characteristic Effluent Concentrations.
