The Kings Beach Commercial Core Improvement Project will construct bike lanes, sidewalks, roadway lane reconfiguration, intersection improvements, corridor beautification improvements, public parking, bus shelters, and traffic calming measures within the Kings Beach community including along 1.1 miles of State Highway 28, County roads, and property from Chipmunk Street to State Highway 267. Integral to this 'complete streets' project will be the upgrade of existing roadway and drainage infrastructure and treatment for urban storm water. The project will enhance pedestrian and bicyclist mobility and improve access and connectivity to businesses, residential homes, and public facilities.
