Sustainable Recreation Program
Improve Public Recreation Facilities
The IVGID community-identified new bocce courts as a priority community service project. The courts were constructed in a community park for all members of the public to enjoy. The project included the construction of four (4) bocce courts, enough to host small tournaments or support a local league. The court complex allows the community to enjoy bocce locally, instead of driving out of town to seek these opportunities, adding a new recreation opportunity.
