Reduce Hazardous Fuels
Forest restoration and fuels reduction in Slaughterhouse Canyon, Tunnel Creek SNPLMA Round 9 Rx Fire, Van Sickle SNPLMA HFR Rounds 8 and 10, Slaughterhouse SNPLMA Round 11, Tunnel Creek, , Sand Harbor, North Canyon, and the east side of SR 28 between Sand Harbor and the Nevada State Park boundary south of Incline Village. Treatment included hand thinning, reducing down woody material, pile burning, underburning, chipping and biomass removal. Aspen restoration efforts took place along North Canyon Creek and in the Van Sickle unit. Dwarf mistletoe was treated at the Sand Harbor administrative site.
