Prevent, Control, or Eradicate Aquatic Invasive Species
The Eurasian watermilfoil and curlyleaf pondweed infestation covers approximately 1 acre inside and immediately adjacent to the marina. Ultraviolet light, benthic barriers, diver-assisted suction removal, and hand-pulling are being used to control these plant species. This project is being implemented in coordination with EIP Project Number 01.03.01.0030, Lakeside Beach & Marina Aquatic Invasive Plant Control UV Light Pilot II.
