The project is in Antone Meadows in Burton Creek State Park in partnership with Tahoe City PUD. Project includes removal of the dam over Burton Creek, relocation of water diversion from Antone Meadow to Lake Tahoe, restoration of meadow and stream channels at dam site, removal of sections of diversion pipe and topographic restoration of pipe road, riparian hardwood restoration around the dam site and meadow, removal of an undersized bridge at the dam and replacement with new bridge which spans the floodplain and allows for access of fire trucks and fuels management equipment.
