Watershed Restoration Program Restore Priority Meadows, Wetlands, and Lake Tahoe Tributaries
STPUD has approximately 149 sites in which utility infrastructure (water and sewer lines) are crossing a stream environment zone, literally in the streambed. This project is a condition assessment of each of these 149 sites in order to assess the condition of the current infrastructure and the risk to the SEZ. The assessment would prioritize the sites through a risk assessment and give a generalized "toolbox" approach to stabilizing the infrastructure, to include stream restoration as necessary.
