This project includes streambank stabilization and restoration along the first four miles of the Truckee River downstream of the Lake Tahoe Dam in Tahoe City. The project will stabilize banks eroded from trampling by river and trail users, reduce the amount of bank erosion by isolating river access points, and discourage ingress and egress in sensitive areas.
