Stormwater Management Program
Reduce Stormwater Pollution From: Roads and Highways, Forest Roads, Public and Private Parcels
The Al Tahoe Government Center serves multiple jurisdictions and is a priority location for improved water quality infrastructure to stabilize sediment sources, treat runoff and alleviate flooding. Overflow from any proposed onsite facilities must tie into existing City storm drain system and discharge points on adjacent properties. The project will include assessing maintenance needs of these existing BMPs. TRPA will coordinate with El Dorado County and the City (and LTCC and USFS as needed) to plan and permit stormwater facilities needed for the parcel.
