The Delaware Water Quality Project (Project) encompasses the Tahoe Paradise Units No. 20, 22, 23, and 24 subdivisions, which includes Delaware Street, Kiowa Drive, and Kickapoo Street. The primary goal of the Project is to improve the clarity of Lake Tahoe by reducing detrimental water quality impacts that are a result of the development of Tahoe Paradise Units No. 20, 22, 23, and 24. The objective of the Project is the reduction of the transport of fine sediment from the Project area to the Upper Truckee River by construction water quality Best Management Practices (BMPs). (Previously EIP #194)
