Stormwater Management Program Reduce Stormwater Pollution From: Roads and Highways, Forest Roads, Public and Private Parcels
This project will purchase a high-efficiency sweeper as a mobile BMP (Best Management Practice) to be used on county maintained paved roadways (approximately 70 centerline miles) in order to reduce fine sediment particles and nutrient concentrations from entering the storm water and impacting water quality. Reports of the amount of reductions and costs for operations will be reported under the Tahoe sweeping operations.
