Stormwater Management Program
Reduce Stormwater Pollution From: Roads and Highways, Forest Roads, Public and Private Parcels
The City of South Lake Tahoe is the implementing agency for this project. The Al Tahoe project area consists of two primary watersheds that drains to several storm drains that collect flow from the Al Tahoe subdivision. The project area is approximately 55 acres (bounded by US 50 to the east, Los Angeles Avenue to the south, Lake Tahoe to the north and Sacramento Avenue to the west) with ~19 acres of impervious area. Included are disturbed earthen road shoulders, single- and multi-family residences, commercial enterprises, and a popular recreation area – Regan Beach.
