Stormwater Management Program
Reduce Stormwater Pollution From: Roads and Highways, Forest Roads, Public and Private Parcels
The project area is comprised of three discontinuous segments from Cave Rock to the US 50/SR 28 intersection. Significant cut slopes exist throughout the project area and contribute a significant amount of sediment to stormwater. Slope stabilization options such as revegetation and soil/rock nailing and refacing will be evaluated through the alternative design process. In addition, facilities for the conveyance and treatment of stormwater will be evaluated and designed. The first phase of the project includes the stabilization of four cut slopes which were prioritized due to their sediment production and connectivity to stream systems.
