Reduce Stormwater Pollution From: Roads and Highways, Forest Roads, Public and Private Parcels
The project includes the design and implementation of water quality and erosion control features on SR431 between SR 28 and the Lake Tahoe Basin boundary. The project includes planning, design and construction for installation of source control, conveyance and treatment facilities for stormwater runoff. Aggressive storm water treatment and source control will be necessary in the lower portions of the project area as it dissected by Rosewood, Third, Incline and Wood Creeks as well as several other smaller tributaries and stream environment zones.
